Tempe, AZ : Two persons hurt in vehicle-pedestrian crash in Tempe on Wednesday morning June 25th 2014

Two pedestrians were taken to a nearby hospital after they were struck by a vehicle in front of Wells Fargo Arena on the Arizona State University campus Wednesday morning.

The incident happened just after 8:30 a.m. at Veteran's Way and Sixth Street, said Molly Enright of the Tempe Police Department.

Westbound Sixth Street at Veteran's Way was closed until about 10:45 a.m., Enright said.

She said the conditions of the victims was not available.

No other information was immediately available.
