SALISBURY, NC : Police chase ends in crash in Salisbury, two hurt on Saturday, 5th November 2016

A police chase in Salisbury ended with a crash involving an officer's patrol cruiser early on Saturday morning.
Officials say two people were on a motorcycle just after midnight and failed to stop for police. Investigators say the driver of the motorcycle took off going speeds of up to 100 miles per hour before running a red light and crashing into another vehicle and Salisbury police car at the intersection of Jake Alexander Boulevard and Old Concord Road.
Two people on the motorcycle went to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle and the police officer were not hurt.
