Attleboro, MA : 1 killed, 1 injured in crash on I-95 in North Attleboro on Monday, 28th August 2023

A man died from his injuries in a three-vehicle highway crash Monday in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and another driver who allegedly fled the scene has been arrested.

The crash around 4:15 p.m. closed down the northbound side of Interstate 95.

State police say a 50-year-old man from Cranston, Rhode Island, was driving southbound in a Buick LaCrosse when he collided with a Cadillac Escalade driven by a 61-year-old Providence man. The Cadillac then went over the median and hit a Jaguar driven by a 58-year-old Foxboro man.

The Jaguar's driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Cadillac's driver was seriously injured and taken to Rhode Island Hospital, police said.
