ATLANTA, GA : Man hit and killed on I-75 in Cobb County on Wednesday, 28th February 2024

A person was hit and killed on Interstate 75 in Cobb County, according to the Marietta Police Department on Wednesday morning.

It happened in the southbound lanes past Canton Road at North Marietta Parkway. All lanes were closed for multiple hours before reopening just before 7:30 a.m.

Marietta Police said they had not identified the victim and did not know why he was in the middle of the interstate. No other information about the crash was provided.
