Derry, NH : Man hit by car in Derry Route 102 Thursday November 5 2015

Derry Police were investigating an accident that sent a man to the hospital on Thursday.Derry Fire Battalion Chief Scott Haggart told WMUR emergency crews were sent to 96 Chester Road (Route 102) at 5:35 p.m. after a report that a motor vehicle hit a pedestrian.
Crews arrived to find a man in his mid-50's with a serious head injury. He was treated and transported to Parkland Medical rrenter.
Derry Police said the road was closed for five hours because of the investigation, reopening shortly after 9:30 p.m.
