Provo, UT : Boys injured in sledding accident in Santaquin on Monday, January 30th 2017
Two juvenile males learned a lesson the hard way Monday afternoon when they sustained non-life-threatening injuries during a sledding accident in Santaquin.
According to Officer Mike Wall, public information officer for the Santaquin Police Department, the two minors, ages 15 and 12, were sledding on private property. The owner of the property asked the boys to leave, but they did not.
Upon being injured, both boys were transported to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo -- one by medical helicopter.
According to Wall, there will be no citations in the case.
