Paul DiMaio said Tuesday of his wife Lisa, "she was my best friend...we did everything together." Lisa DiMaio, 44, was killed in a crash on I-95 the day before when another driver cut her off and fled the scene in Bensalem, Pa. Friends and loved ones — in shock over the death of the mother of three — gathered at the family's home on the 900 block of Coach Road Tuesday afternoon. Lisa DiMaio was returning home Monday, Oct. 13 after dropping off her daughter Deena, 20, and 15-month-old granddaughter Melody at their home in Bensalem just prior to the fatal accident on I-95. Another driver travelling south near Exit 35 at Woodhaven Road swerved into her lane and slammed on the brakes, causing DiMaio to brake, veer into the median shoulder and crash into the end of a guard rail, flipping the vehicle, police told her husband. DiMaio was transported to a nearby hospital in Torresdale and died as a result of her injuries. Witnesses — including an off-duty firefighter — described the leading vehicle in the crash as a late '90s or early 2000 black sedan, according to police. There is no other information known about this vehicle. Source : Washington Township I-95 crash victim's family, friends seek driver who fled
