Woman killed in Largo crash
Largo police officers are investigating a traffic fatality that occurred Thursday.
Nancy Frazier, 63, died at the scene of the 5 p.m. crash that occurred at the intersection of 66th Street North and 142nd Avenue North, Largo police said.
Frazier was the passenger in a 1998 Mazda driven by 65-year-old William Frazier Jr., of Clearwater.
William Frazier Jr. was heading east on 142nd Avenue when he made a left turn at 66th Street in front of a 2003 Ford F250 pickup truck that was heading west on 142nd Avenue and was driven by Evan Moyer, 49, of Largo, police said.
Moyer’s pickup truck struck the passenger side of the Mazda, police said.
Nancy Frazier died at the scene from her injuries, police said.
William Fraizer Jr. was transported by emergency helicopter to a local hospital in serious condition, police said.
Moyer was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The crash is still under investigation, police said.
