BRIDGEPORT, CT : Hit-and-run leaves person in critical condition on Friday, 5th July 2024

A hit-and-run in Bridgeport on Friday morning left a person in critical condition.

Bridgeport police said they were called to Maple and Kossuth streets around 4:50 a.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

They said the driver fled the scene.

The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital.
