WESTPORT, CT : 10-year-old girl killed in Westport crash; Fall River driver slams car after accident on Sunday, 13th September, 2020

A 10-year-old girl is dead and six other people — including the girl’s 9-year-old sister — have been injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 6 in Westport, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.

The Wesport Police Department reports that it received several 911 calls at 2:14 a.m. Sunday reporting a three-car crash on the area of Route 6 known as State Road, which is near the intersection of Route 88.

Police said that callers reported that several children were involved in the crash.

Crews from the Westport, Dartmouth and Fall River fire departments responded to the scene of the crash and transported seven people to area hospitals to be treated for a variety of injuries.
