Phoenix, AZ : 4-vehicle crash involving Glendale police officer shuts down WB traffic at Olive and 56th on Tuesday, 23rd August, 2016

A four-vehicle crash involving a police officer has shut down westbound traffic on a Glendale street.

Sgt. Scott Waite of the Glendale Police Department said westbound traffic will be blocked at 56th and Olive avenues while authorities investigate what caused the crash Tuesday afternoon.

Waite said there were no significant injuries and no one was transported to the hospital.

He said the westbound lane could be shut down for several hours, which includes the evening rush hour.
