CONCORD, CA : One dead in Highway 4 rollover crash on Wednesday, December 28th 2016

One person died in a rollover crash Wednesday night on Highway 4, according to the California Highway Patrol. The fatal crash happened around 8 p.m. on westbound Highway 4 near the Port Chicago Highway off-ramp.

The vehicle crashed into the center divide and overturned, landing on its roof and killing a person inside. The victim was not identified, pending notification of family members.

It was not immediately known is anyone else was injured or if any other vehicles were involved. No lanes or roads were closed after the collision.
