PHOENIX, AZ : Wrong-way driver arrested on SR-202 near downtown Phoenix on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024

One person is under arrest after allegedly driving the wrong way on the SR-202 freeway near downtown Phoenix early Tuesday morning.

At this time, details are limited but Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers confirmed that one person was taken into custody after the wrong-way driver was reported on the freeway near the 24th Street exit around 3:30 a.m.
