HOUSTON, TX : Bicyclist riding to work killed in hit-and-run crash involving 18-wheeler in north Houston on Friday, 28th June 2024

A 53-year-old bicyclist who was riding to work was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving an 18-wheeler along the Beltway 8 feeder road in north Houston Friday morning, police said.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the frontage road near the Hardy Toll Road just before 6 a.m., according to HPD. Three frontage road lanes were closed as police investigated the crash.
