Richmond, VA : Chippenham Parkway, Willey Bridge reopen after accident Tuesday morning, November 15, 2016

All lanes of Chippenham Parkway near Stony Point Fashion Park and the Willey Bridge have reopened, hours after a three-vehicle accident during the morning rush hour that left a person with life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound on Chippenham Parkway crossed the median and hit two vehicles traveling southbound, Richmond police said.
A male was ejected from one vehicle, police said. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The southbound lanes of Chippenham Parkway and the Willey Bridge were closed until about 2:45 p.m. as police investigated the crash and the scene was cleaned up.
