Sterlington, LA : One dead after wreck on U.S. 165 and Keystone Road on Friday afternoon, May 6, 2016

Assistant Chief Michael Baldwin of the Sterlington Police Department said one person is dead following a wreck involving a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle.

The wreck occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 165 and Keystone Road. Baldwin said an out-of-state motorcyclist died in the crash while an occupant of the SUV sustained injuries.

Sterlington law enforcement is still working the accident scene, Baldwin said. The names of those involved has not yet been released.
