A South Fayette man died early Thursday from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle crash in Bridgeville, officials said.
Darin W. Pilato, 42, of South Fayette’s Cuddy section, was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m. at St. Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Pilato, an off-the-road tire technician, went to South Fayette High School and studied business management at Butler County Community College, his social media profile shows.
Rich Coffman, manager at Pittsburgh Tire Services in the city’s Strip District, said that Pilato, a former employee, “was a good guy, he always worked hard.”
Pilato’s family could not immediately be reached.
