BEXAR COUNTY, TX : 1 dead, 1 critical after South Bexar County crash on Thursday, 27th June 2019

One person is dead and another was hospitalized after a vehicle crash happened in South Bexar County overnight, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

The crash occurred just before 3 a.m. near Highway 281 and Loop 1604.According to deputies, the driver struck a barricade, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side and eject the driver. The front passenger was pinned inside the vehicle as a result of the crash.

Investigators believe speeding may have been a factor in the fatal crash.
