Mill Creek, DE : Brackenville Road crash in the area of Mill Creek and Hockessin on Friday, 31st January, 2020 Just now

Brackenville Road has been reopened after a crash caused it to be shut down and created power outages in the area of Mill Creek and Hockessin shortly before 10 p.m. Friday.

It was unclear if there were any injuries in the crash, which left a pickup against a house on Brackenville Road and a semi-tractor trailer draped in utility lines.DelDot reported Brackenville Road was closed in both directions between Limestone Road and Millcreek Road while the crash was cleared. The accident occured near Hockessin Valley Falls Road.Delmarva Power had said more than 1400 customers were without power but revised the number to less than 100 within 1.5 hours of the accident. The roadway was reopened about 11:30 p.m.
