TEMPLE, TX : Crash reported near exit 306 on I-35 northbound by Temple PD on Thursday, 7th March 2024

The Temple Police Department is investigating a crash on I-35 near exit 306 that left a 72-year-old woman dead on Thursday, March 7.

According to Temple PD, officers were called to the northbound side of I-35 in response to the crash around 8 a.m.

Police say through the initial investigation, it was discovered that the woman's car had been sitting in the middle lane of the highway after it had experienced mechanical issues.
