Sudbury, VT : 20-year-old Forest Dale man killed and two men injured in a crash on Saturday October 17 2015
A 20-year-old Forest Dale man was killed and two men were injured in a crash Saturday night in Sudbury, police said.
Jakob P. Mulcahy died after being ejected from a Honda Civic just before 10 p.m. near Vermont Route 30 and Vermont Route 73, according to state police.Mulcahy lost control of the car, which rolled over several times before coming to rest in a field. He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, police said.
Jacob D. Mitchell, 20, of Ludlow and Sean Armstrong, 20, of Ludlow were taken to Rutland Regional Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Mitchell had a seat belt on but was ejected, police said.
Speed appears to have contributed to the crash, police said.
