CLAYTON COUNTY, GA : Driver runs red light, crashing into 8 cars, killing toddler on Thursday, 17th January 2019

A driver running a red light caused an eight-car pileup, killing a young girl.

Authorities in Clayton County said the crash happened Thursday night.

Police said an impatient driver in a Dodge Charger ran a red light at the intersection of Holiday Boulevard and Old Dixie Highway. The driver wrecked into several vehicles in a horrific crash.

Three victims were rushed to local area hospitals. Two were listed in critical condition, and the third, a 4-year-old girl, was also critical condition.

Another victim, a 2-year-old girl, was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced deceased on scene.
