WAUCOMA, IA : 18-year-old Waucoma man dies in northeast Iowa car crash in rural Fayette County on Tuesday, 6th November 2018

A northeast Iowa teenager was killed in a two-vehicle crash in rural Fayette County on Tuesday afternoon.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office received multiple reports of an accident between a semi-wrecker and a car at around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.When first responders arrived, they discovered the driver of the car, Thomas Rolison Jr., 18, had suffered serious injuries and was trapped in the vehicle.

He was removed from the car and flown to a hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators determined that the car had entered the intersection at 230th Street near W Avenue and collided with the wrecker.
