Stanwood, WA : Truck driver dies in fiery crash on Pioneer Highway Thursday night, June 2, 2016
A crash Thursday night on Pioneer Highway in Stanwood left one dead, said a Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman.
The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. in the 23000 block of Pioneer Highway. A truck caught fire and left the road.
After extinguishing the flames, emergency personnel confirmed that the driver — who has not yet been identified — was inside the cab. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the driver’s cause of death.
