PORTLAND, OR : 2 motorcycle riders killed in crash on Morrison Bridge ramp on Thursday, 13th June 2024

Two people were killed Thursday night when police said the motorcycle they were riding crashed on a ramp on the Morrison Bridge and they were thrown over a barrier to a parking lot below.

Police were called just after 8 p.m. to the scene at Southeast Water Avenue and Morrison Street.

They found a crashed motorcycle on the ramp from eastbound Morrison Bridge to northbound Interstate 5. Their preliminary investigation suggested that when the motorcycle crashed, the two people riding it were thrown over the barrier.

The motorcycle riders died at the scene.
