TAMPA, FL : At least 1 person dead in Tampa crash on Saturday, 14th October 2023

At least one person is dead after a crash on Saturday afternoon in Tampa, authorities say.

The accident, in the 1100 block of West Sligh Avenue, involved a motorcycle and SUV, the Tampa Police Department said in a news release.

Both the westbound and eastbound lanes of Sligh Avenue were initially closed due to the crash but they have since been reopened, police said in an update.
