Devens, MA : Leominster man injured in Devens crash on Sunday night, July 10, 2016
A 52-year-old Leominster man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries Sunday night after crashing his motor vehicle at Devens, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Department of Defense Police, Devens Fire/EMS and State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash around 112 Jackson Road at 9:40 p.m.
The driver was traveling in a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck and crashed on Jackson Road. He was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with serious injuries.
The cause remains under investigation, according to state police.
From scanner reports Sunday night, the man drove into a fence and suffered a severe head injury. MedFlight was grounded due to weather, so he was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
