FREDERICK COUNTY, MD : 85-year-old woman dies in car crash on Route 522 in Frederick County on Wednesday, 28th August 2024

A driver lost her life after colliding with a barrier and overturning in Frederick County, Maryland, according to the Virginia State Police.

Gretchen L. Largent, 85, was driving north on Route 522 when she ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and later hit a barrier before overturning, officials said.Largent was not wearing a seatbelt, officials said. She lost her life at the scene.
