Columbus, OH : Ohio man dies in Mercer County crash on I-80 on Saturday, 15th October 2016

An Ohio man died Saturday when he lost control of his car and collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 in Mercer County.

State police identified him as Jeffrey Polichena, 68, of Ravenna, Ohio.

The crash happened about 10 a.m. near Lackawannock when Polichena's Buick Lucerne went partially off the side of the road and careened back across two lanes before striking a guide rail. A tractor-trailer then collided with the car, police said.

Polichena was pronounced dead at the scene.
