Eau Claire, WI : Woman injured in two-car crash in Chippewa County on Wednesday August 31, 2016

A 28-year-old woman was injured in a two-car crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in the town of Arthur.
The crash occurred at 4:12 p.m. at the intersection of Highway S and Highway K, near the Chippewa Valley Music Festival grounds, halfway between Cadott and Cornell.
The woman was flown to a local hospital to treat her injuries; her name hasn’t been released at this time.
The initial investigation appears to show that a car traveling northbound on Highway K failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection. A truck traveling eastbound on Highway S struck that passenger car as it entered the intersection.
No one else was injured in the crash.
