Torrance, CA : Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Carson on Sunday, November, 5th 2017
Three people were killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in Carson near the SouthBay Pavilion mall, sheriff’s deputies said.
The crash was reported at about 2:20 a.m. in the area of Del Amo and Avalon boulevards, said Lt. Luis Trego of the Carson sheriff’s station. The roads reportedly were slick at the time from overnight rain.
All three victims were reported to be males, but their ages were not immediately known and none was identified, Trejo said.
Two people in one of the vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person from the second vehicle was transported to a trauma center and later died, deputies said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation, but it was clear that one of the cars had broadsided the other. Traffic investigators were still on scene Sunday morning and the area was closed to traffic.
