Janesville, WI : Woman killed in a head-on car collision on Highway 51 on Thursday October 6 2016

An Edgerton woman killed in a head-on car collision Thursday has been identified, according to a release from the Rock County Medical Examiner's Department.

Sonja Collins, 46, was driving on Highway 51 north of County M in the town of Fulton when she struck an oncoming vehicle. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to the release.

The death remains under investigation by the medical examiner.
