Erie, PA : A Meadville woman died in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, May 27, 2017
A Meadville woman died Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 98 and Crossingville Road in Cussewago Township, Crawford County, state police said.
Police identified the victim as Antiqua A. King, 24.
Police said King was driving a Kia Optima east on Crossingville Road at about 3 p.m. when she failed to stop at the stop sign on Crossingville Road at the intersection with Route 98.
King’s vehicle collided at high speed with a Dodge Ram, which was heading south on Route 98. After impact, King’s vehicle traveled south a short distance and came to a stop on the west shoulder of Route 98, police said. The Dodge Ram came to a stop on its side on the east shoulder of Route 98.
King was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected out of the driver’s side window, police said. King was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman who was driving the Dodge Ram was uninjured and a female passenger suffered a minor injury, police said.
