Caryville, TN : One killed, Three injured in Campbell County car crash on Monday night, July 21, 2014

One person was killed and three others were injured in a single vehicle crash Monday night in Campbell County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2004 Dodge Ram driven by Kevin Fleming, 42, was traveling south on Patty Hill Road near Ridge Road when it left the roadway on the right side.

Fleming over-corrected, went up an embankment and struck a tree. The vehicle then rotated to the left, landing on its right side.

A passenger, Charles Morris, 43, was killed.

Fleming and two other passengers, Darrell Carroll, 39, and Carl Daugherty Jr., 52, were injured. All four persons were taken to UT Medical Center by Lifestar.

Troopers say no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
