New Town, N.D : 34-year-old Jeffrey Ogden killed in crash on Mountrail County gravel road on Saturday, December 27, 2014

The Highway Patrol has identified a New Town man who died in a weekend crash north of the city.

Authorities say 34-year-old Jeffrey Ogden died shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday when the sport utility vehicle he was driving failed to negotiate a curve on a Mountrail County gravel road. Ogden was thrown from the vehicle when it rolled in a pasture.

Ogden was alone in the SUV.
