One person was killed and another was injured in a two-car crash on Lyndell Bell Road Friday night.
According to a report by Tennessee Highway Patrol officer Keith Summers, around 8 p.m. Friday a 2006 Kia operated by Patricia Sublett, 76, of Manchester, collided with the rear of a dump truck operated by Robert A. Wiser, 67, of Manchester, that was sitting on the side of the roadway.
According to the trooper’s report, Sublett was traveling northeast on Lyndell Bell Road when she came upon the dump truck stalled in her lane of traffic. The Kia struck the rear of the stalled truck. The crash occurred on the passenger’s side of the car.
