Findlay, OH : Mount Cory man hospitalized after a crash in Findlay on Friday night, March 24, 2017
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that sent one person to the hospital Friday evening.
At 9:10 p.m., 44-year-old Kirt Decker, of Mount Cory, was driving east on state Route 568 when his vehicle went left of center, striking a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Dreema Sharp, of Findlay. Decker’s vehicle continued off the north side of the roadway, traveling nearly 100 feet before turning over in a field.
Decker was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with unknown injuries. Sharp and her two passengers, 15-year-old Gavin Tyson and 18-year-old Baylee Tyson, both of Findlay, were not injured.
Sheriff’s Office officials said they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, which was still under investigation Saturday.
