Houston, TX : SUV driver died and passenger seriously injured in fatal crash on Tuesday February 16 2016

An SUV driver died and his passenger was seriously injured as he allegedly sped from Houston police on the north side late Monday.
According to police, around 10:55 p.m. an officer spotted an older GMC SUV traveling the wrong direction on a one-way street along the train tracks in Northline.
The driver turned onto Sunnyside from Airline at a high rate of speed, traveling a few blocks before hitting an incline and going airborne. The SUV went sideways and crashed into a ditch and then a tree.
The driver died at the scene, and his passenger was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
