PITTSBURGH, PA : Changes coming to Pittsburgh street with history of speeding, crashes on Monday, 16th November, 2020
“Traffic calming” measures are being installed on a street in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood where drivers frequently speed.
Officials said 99% of vehicles that travel on Maytide Street exceed the 25 mph speed limit, averaging 36 mph.
The traffic calming measures include four speed tables, which are like speed bumps, but longer and flat on the top.
