Seguin,TX : 1 man seriously injured in Saturday crash on January, Saturday 27th 2018
Two people were injured in a three-car collision early Saturday evening.
The wreck was reported about 5:30 p.m. when a pickup truck crashed into two vehicles driving opposite directions on U.S. Highway 90 West at Turtle Lane.
Seguin Police spokesman Officer Carlos Contreras said a 2006 white Toyota Tacoma was traveling north on Turtle Lane and pulled out into traffic on Hwy. 90.
A 2003 blue Hyundai Sonata that was heading east on the road struck the pickup truck, Contreras said
The Toyota then sailed into the westbound lanes colliding with a 2013 red Nissan Frontier that was heading west, he said.
Seguin Fire Department Battalion Chief Tom Tebow said two people were injured in the accident.“Upon arrival, it was determined that one of the patients would need to be flown into San Antonio,” he said. “The other patient was transported by ground to the local hospital.”
The driver of the Toyota was flown to San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, while the driver of the Sonata was taken by Seguin EMS to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, Tebow said.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation and possible charges are pending.
