DES MOINES, IA : 1 person injured in single-vehicle crash on Wednesday, 10th February 2021

The Des Moines Police Department confirmed with KCCI that a single vehicle crashed on I-235 on Wednesday.

Authorities said it happened near 42nd Street at about 7:30 p.m. Police said the driver is in stable condition and was taken to the hospital for an injury to their shoulder.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

While the right lane was temporarily closed, it's been reopened.
