Walled Lake , MI : Police searching for hit and run driver vehicle-pedestrian crash on Pontiac Trail on Saturday evening , May 16th 2015

The Walled Lake Police Department is investigating a vehicle-pedestrian crash on Pontiac Trail and Spring Park Drive Saturday evening.

A 47-year-old woman was crossing Pontiac Trail to enter Eagle Pond Crossings. When she walked into the eastbound traffic lanes outside of a marked pedestrian crossing, a white Pontiac G8 struck the woman.

The victim suffered a broken neck, arm, leg and pelvis. She was taken to Botsford hospital where she remains in critical condition after multiple surgeries.
