Santa Clarita,CA : Motorcyclist suffers major injuries in crash on 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita on May,Friday 25th 2018

The collision occurred about 6:35 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway near Newhall Avenue and the rider was thrown into southbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital. The CHP reported he suffered major injuries, but an update on his condition was not immediately available.
A car with damage to its rear end was stopped at the scene, a news photographer said.
The carpool and two left main lanes were closed in either direction following the crash, the CHP reported.
