Onalaska, WI ; An Onalaska motorcyclist was killed and a Bangor woman injured in a crash at 61 near the intersection of state Hwy on Saturday, April 16th, 2016
An Onalaska motorcyclist was killed Saturday and a second injured in a crash during the annual Flood Run, which brings thousands of bikers through southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Randall Beers, 62, was southbound on Hwy. 61 near the intersection of state Hwy. 42 shortly before 5 p.m. when he collided with an eastbound vehicle attempting to make a left turn onto the highway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Beers was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger on his motorcycle, Jessica Lesniewski, 37, of Bangor, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, the State Patrol said.
The two people in the car, Valerie Perushek, 30, of Bloomer, Wis., and Sharlie King, 29, of Chetek, Wis., were apparently uninjured, according to the Patrol.
