A teen is dead after an early morning crash on Northwest Expressway, but it’s what police found inside his car that is raising more questions.

Brian Durini, 17, was killed in the accident, when his car slid off the road and into a tree near Council and NW Expressway just after 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Inside his car, police said they found a stolen gun that was taken during a smash and grab at Sooner Pawn Shop, one of two similar burglaries, where four suspects drove stolen cars through the walls to break inside.

“We do not know how it got in there. We don’t know at this point who all of the suspects are in that case,” Gary Knight, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, said.
