Milwaukee, WI : 66-year-old man killed in a car crash near the 3700 block of 10th Street on Saturday, March 26, 2016

A 66-year-old man was killed in a car accident near the 3700 block of 10th Street on Saturday, police said.

Around 1:30 p.m., the Chrysler mini van he was a passenger in was hit by a stolen Jeep Cherokee, which had blown through a stop sign. The man was thrown from Chrysler. He was taken to hospital where he later died, police said.

The two occupants of the stolen vehicle fled the scene after the accident. Officers found a boy, 17, and a girl, 16, nearby. Police believe they were in the Jeep during the crash.

The detective bureau is leading an investigation into the fatal accident.
