BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, MO : Man killed in ATV accident in St. Louis County on Wednesday, 28th September 2016

St. Louis County police are investigating a fatal ATV accident involving a maintenance man.

Authorities say 40-year-old David Summers was thrown from the ATV he was operating in the course of his duties Wednesday afternoon in north St. Louis County. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident, which happened off the roadway, was not immediately known.
