LAS VEGAS, NV : One in custody in connection with deadly hit-and-run crash in northeast Valley on Friday, 9th February 2024

FOX5 has learned more about a hit-and-run crash that left a bicycle rider dead on the Valley’s northwest side.

It happened around 2:30 Friday morning at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and D Street. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police now say the cyclist was heading east on Losee when a Kia hit them from behind and sent them flying into the road. A Ford van then ran the person over again.

LVMPD says an RTC bus driver called for help upon seeing the body. Paramedics say the second collision caused critical injuries and they died at the scene.
