Klamath Falls, OR : Man dies in fatal wreck south of Klamath Falls Friday afternoon, March 10, 2017

A Central Point man was killed in a single-vehicle collision south of Klamath Falls Friday afternoon, according to Oregon State Police.

At around 3:50 p.m. Friday, police were called to a wreck on Highway 97 near milepost 285, near Midland, involving a white Toyota LCR. Passenger Jeffrey Lee Kuyper, 52, was found deceased.

The driver, 15, and two passengers ages 12 and 17 sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center. All occupants were wearing seat belts at the time.

A dog was also injured after being ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was transported by a civilian to Shasta View Animal Clinic. The clinic was unable to confirm the condition of the dog Monday.
