Lakeville,MA : Lakeville fatal crash victim identified on April, saturday 29th 2017

An East Freetown man who was killed in a roll over crash in Lakeville has been identified.

According to Massachusetts State Police, 61-year-old Frederick Maxfield of East Freetown was heading Northbound on Route 140 when he lost control of his car causing it to roll over and crash.

Soon after, Maxfield’s car caught fire and he was entrapped. However, several drivers were able to free him.

Maxfield was taken to Morton Hospital in Taunton where he died Saturday night.

Authorities are still investigating.
